Understanding your business

I take time to understand your company before designing anything.
This includes learning about your customers.

Put yourself in the shoes of the people visiting your website.
– What product, service, or experience are they searching for?
– Are they able to easily find what they need?
– Is their overall experience with the site enjoyable?

Thinking through questions like these is a central part of my approach to building a website that works for your business, communicates your brand, and benefits your customers.

Planning and strategy

This step is all about connecting the dots.
My goal is to clearly outline how each design element helps you accomplish your goals.

Everything gets mapped out. Mapping helps you measure.

We’ll outline metrics for assessing website performance. I’ll help you set up the Analytics and teach you how it works. I want you to experience how simple it can be to quickly view and understand which content is resonating most with your customers.

Drafting and feedback

Time to start designing!
The theme of this step is fun and productive collaboration.

Your brand really starts coming to life as we work through a series of drafts, quickly turning around feedback and updates. Initial drafts are focused on overall website structure; subsequent drafts will be increasingly focused on details.

At the end of this step, everything is in place, down to the last detail. There is one more step before launching your website:
Testing website functionality.
